THE CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY
OF PASADENA

Welcome to our Church.

Since 1980, we have served a growing congregation in Pasadena and surrounding communities. It is with great pride today we extend our help across the entire San Gabriel Valley from our home in the heart of historic Old Pasadena.

Our Church realizes Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard's vision that all Churches of Scientology become what he termed Ideal Organizations (Orgs). Ideal Orgs not only provide the ideal facilities for Scientologists on their ascent to higher states of spiritual freedom, but they also serve as a home for the entire community and a meeting ground of cooperative effort to uplift people of all denominations.

To that end, we are committed to upholding the rich heritage that has imbued Pasadena with its cultural values and quality of life. We look forward to working together with every individual and group dedicated to achieving our shared dreams of drug-free, crime-free communities and a flourishing future for all generations to come.

Our doors are open. Our help is yours.

A HISTORY OF
THE BRALEY BUILDING

The Braley Building, now home of the Church of Scientology of Pasadena, was originally constructed in 1906 for civic and business leader Edgar Braley. It housed Braley’s bicycle emporium, then with the rising popularity of the automobile, was subsequently transformed into Pasadena’s first electric car dealership.

GRAND OPENING

On July 18, 2010, over four thousand Scientologists and their guests packed the street before 35 South Raymond Avenue in the heart of Pasadena’s Old Town, for the grand opening of the new Church of Scientology in the City of Roses. Mr. David Miscavige, Chairman of the Board of Religious Technology Center and ecclesiastical leader of the Scientology religion, addressed the crowd and dedicated the historic, 58,000-square-foot building, calling it “a whole new breed of Scientology Organization—one only previously dreamed of for this city.”
